Sushi is for Suckers!

So my husband and some friends (shout outs to Marshall, Ricky & Katie) thought it would be fun to trick me into eating at a sushi restaurant tonight...not cool! The atmosphere was great...I loved watching the fish in their tanks (the kind you don't eat)....
My husband was more adventuresome than I care to be, despite what his face seems to be saying, he enjoyed this feast of crab & seaweed!
I preferred the more common...or I should say COOKED menu options. I enjoyed teriyaki chicken over fried rice & a few eggrolls. What can I say? I just have no desire to eat anything that can still moo, oink, cluck, bark, swim, squirm or meow!

I think the best part of the night was watching the fellas drink a few Saki Bombs! They smelled like pure alcohol! It was great how the server just jumped in & was taking Saki Bomb shots with all the customers...you know what....I don't know if we tipped him? Oops!

Happy Birthday Ashley!

My niece is turning 17 this weekend **shout-outs**, and the fact that time passes so quickly never ceases to bring my inner-Joey out! "Whoa!" I mean I was 17 too...not so long ago...9 years ago matter of factly. I know I was no angel, but I was not a she-devil either. I did my fair share of rebel activities (none of which I will publicly acknowledge), but I say sometimes we need to experience these life adventures to educate ourselves & hopefully make better decisions as adults. I think 17 is that special age where you get to live as a child one last year, because @ 18 it's sink or swim according to the law in all 50 states! I mean sure, you've seen movies called "16 Candles" or "40Year Old Virgin" or "13 Going on 30"....but there is 2 versions of
"17 Again"...must be a magical age if it is getting cinema recognition TWICE!! So enjoy your 17th year for all you make it! Happy Birthday!

Hello World of Blogs!

So I'm jumping on board this weekend. I'm officially on Myspace, Facebook, Twitter....and now I am blogging! Why do I feel the need to commit to so many interactive internet-based sites?? Interaction! I often feel like a gypsy (minus the dark olive skin, jewelery, & scant clothing) always traveling. I am always on the move & working...so why not communicate my adventures via the net!? It sure saves me the phone minutes, although verizon said I can add 10 out-of-network numbers to my plan now, still it's easier than repeating the 411 over & over.

I spent some time with Bella this weekend. As you can see she was trying to assist me in scrapbooking...but spent most of the time trying to figure out how to get out of my supply containers. I've grown so attached to this kitten, it could be interpreted as a need for psychological evaluation, LOL! I digress....she brings peace to my chaotic life, how dare anyone mock the things that make others happy! I'll keep it short & sweet tonight, I have a long week in the bay area ahead & should get some sleep. Ribbit Ribbit!
