Despite the lack of adequate funds, we decided to head down to Fallbrook this past Labor Day Wknd to visit my mom & family. It was a spur of the moment decision. It was about 7pm on Friday, as I was talking with Michael on my drive home, I was like "You wanna go?"...."Sure"...."Ok, start packing!" By 8:30 we were loaded & ready to hit the road for our 5hr trip south! Made it to Aunt Shirly's (my Nina's) by 1am....and as promised Matt was waiting with a beer for Mike! I got to meet Natalie's boyfriend for the 1st time in the 1 1/2 years they've been together. As much as I was wanting to dislike this cat....I admit he's a pretty decent person. I mean he's gotta be a pretty brave soul to hook up with one of the Cudd girls, haha! Poor guy! We BBQd & went swimming @ Tommy's on Saturday...had a Poker Party that night....and hit Oceanside Beach on Sunday....with a final farewell to summer bonfire that night. I loved getting to spend time with Matt & Tommy's families, & getting to know their kids. BTW....I still owe Matt a shove in the pool, I'll get 'em!
