Olivia "Baby" AndreJuly 5th, 2009
We have a new addition to our family, we adopted (formerly Judy#2) from the St. Francis Adoption Program at the Petco last July 5th. After careful thought we decided to go with the name Olivia. She is so small & dainty that it seemed to fit her.
Mike & I could not get over how big Bella has got, especially when comparing her to Olivia. Bella has just been our baby, our happy family of three, that we never realized she was growing up!

The first day home with Olivia was hard. Bella was quite possessive & made sure Olivia new that she was boss kitty in this house! I think poor Olivia spent her first day home hiding in a corner down the hallway. To make sure she was okay during the night, we made a make-shift pillow bed for her on the nightstand. Surprisingly she slept there the whole night. Awww....look at my two babies passed out!
I couldn't sleep much that night. Call me crazy but I was feeling so guilty that we brought home another cat. I felt like I had betrayed Bella's trust & made her think that we didn't love her anymore...I literally tossed & turned all night about this! I asked my mom if she ever felt this way when she brought me home, or if she felt like "how can I share my attention" between my children?? She said she doesn't recall...but I bet some parents feel this way to some degree.Originally I had my Aunt make this dress for Bella, but as you can see it is barely fitting Olivia! Here are a few more pics of "My Kids" at home...
4th of July was fun this year too! I made a potato salad for the 1st time (thanks Aunt Shirly!) and some cupcakes for a BBQ/Swim party at Katie & Ricky's house. My potato salad was killer yummy good (in case you were wondering)! The cupcakes I don't know how well received they were, since my buddy Marshall dropped them on the floor... HAPPY 4th of JULY 2009!!
